CH-MATHS-IN in Swiss Applied Mathematical Society joined EU-MATHS-IN Annual Meeting

EU-MATHS-IN held its annual meeting in Barcelona from November 25th to 26th, with Dr. Gang Mu from the Swiss Applied Mathematical Society representing CH-MATHS-IN in Switzerland. The event featured two key segments: the EU-MATHS-IN Council Meeting and a Math Industry Day.

On the first day, the afternoon was dedicated to the Council Meeting, bringing together national networks and European organizations to strengthen the interface between mathematics and industry. EU-MATHS-IN plays a pivotal role in addressing industry demands, driving innovation, and adding value through collaborative efforts.

The second day focused on the Math Industry Day, showcasing career opportunities in fundamental mathematics and its integration with the job market and societal needs. This session aimed to foster communication between academia and industry, exploring potential partnerships, joint projects, and grant opportunities.

CHAMS is invited for EMRM Meeting in Bern on 12 June 2025 and ICIAM 2027

CHAMS has been invited to participate in the European Mathematical Research Meeting (EMRM), which is scheduled to take place in Bern on June 12, 2025. CHAMS will deliver a keynote speech on the application of mathematics in the industry at the EMRM.

The International Congress on Industrial and Applied Mathematics (ICIAM) is one of the most significant global gatherings for mathematicians, scientists, and industry leaders to exchange ideas, showcase cutting-edge research, and explore applications of mathematics in solving real-world problems. ICIAM 2027, to be held in the Netherlands, will bring together experts from academia and industry to discuss the latest advancements, foster collaborations, and address challenges in fields ranging from engineering and technology to healthcare, finance, and beyond.
